Re-purposed Receptacles Collect Money to Help Local Homeless

Approximately 30 re-purposed and redecorated parking meters are located in businesses throughout the area in the hopes of luring tourist dollars that might otherwise go to panhandlers or other ends. Monies collected in the meters will go to Home Again St. Johns.

Michael Cunningham, business network president, said the purpose is “to bring awareness to the difference between the panhandling and the homeless issues in St. Johns County and to provide funding to assist Home Again St. Johns.”

  1. Charity should also entail and be a consideration for many family office management wherein as a family activity, families can engage in social projects for better relationship and giving back some of their blessings.
